変動幅の目安を知る「ボリンジャー・バンド」とは？
アメリカの「ジョン・ボリンジャー」という人が開発したテクニカル分析であるため、「ボリンジャー・バンド」と名付けられました。これも初心者に分かりやすいテクニカルですが、「使い勝手が良い」と評判のため、FX初心者から上級者の皆さんに至るまで、現在では世界中で愛用されているテクニカルなのです。
そこで、さっそく「ボリンジャー・バンド」をチャートに表示してみましょう。すると、チャートの上下に「2本の線」が表示されるはずです。上の線が「高値」を表示したものであり、下の線が「安値」を表示したものです。ボリンジャー・バンドとは、「この2本の線の間に価格が収まる確率が95%」というものなんですね。つまり、過去100日間のうち95日間が、「その変動幅に収まっている」ということです。
仮に、「米ドル/日本円」の取引をしていたとして、ボリンジャー・バンドの上の線が「100円」を表示していたとしましょう。その時、実際の価格が「99円95銭」にまで上がったとしましょう。しかし、過去100日間のうち、じつに95日間は「100円」を超えなかったのです。ということは、それなりに大きな経済ニュースなどがない場合は、「99円95銭」から価格が下落する確率が「95%」になるということなんですよ。→パーティードレス
さらに、ボリンジャー・バンドには、上記の「95%」を表示するものもあれば、「68%」を表示するものもあります。FX上級者ともなると、2つとも表示して細かい相場予想をしていることもあるんですね。
